The Michigan Clubs Self Insurance Fund was established in 1983. To be eligible, a business must serve in the clubs industry, which covers the following classifications: country clubs, golf courses (public & private), athletic alubs, hunt clubs, riding clubs, yacht clubs, and ski clubs. The Clubs Fund is endorsed by the Michigan Golf Course Owners Association.
